Greetings,
As many of you know, the Seattle Luthiers is once again sponsoring the Puget Sound Stringed Instrument Exhibit, October 4th & 5th, 2003. Last years exhibit was well attended by the public and a great start to what we hope will be a long tradition.
Of course, all volunteer operations such as this need lots of people power. The following is a list of jobs that we, the show committee, are asking for your help to fulfill.

Attend Planning Meetings and Offer your Help: I realize that this is a busy time of year, but with the show only two months away, the small number of regular committee members can not accomplish all this by themselves. Let's come together to make this a great show. The next meeting of the committee is Tuesday, August 5th, at 9;00 AM at Mr.Spots in Ballard.

Poster Hangers: Anyone who has a work place bulletin board, or another place that might attract musical instrument lovers, could help by requesting and placing posters.

Advertising/ Promotion: If you have ideas of other ways that you can get the word out about our exhibit, please let us know. We will expect you to carry these out. This could be posting to online music groups or list serves, an announcement in your church bulletin, or ??.

Stage Manager: On each day of the show, this person (or persons) would help to insure the flow of players thru the performance space, keeping to the schedule and acting as a Master of Ceremonies. (?Tophat required?)

Door Managers: On each day of the show, two people are needed to watch the doors to insure all instruments leaving the space are properly tagged, in order to prevent instruments being removed inappropriately

Exhibit: There are still spaces available. If you only have one instrument to show, you can share a table and show off your work. If you're interested, go to www.seattleluthiers.org to down load an application. Mark that you want a half space and we will try to match you up with another person in a similar situation.

The next meeting of the committee is Tuesday 9;00 am at Mr. Spots in Ballard
