Hello Luthiers,
A handful of the folks that have been involved in the co-op
conversation, have gone on there own to see the space available next
door to Gurians shop. The conclusion seems to be (although some people
like the space and see some possibilities) too big, and to expensive.
Not everyone has the same idea about what we should look for.
Personally, I don't think we've had enough time to develop a solid
platform or concept to jump into a space yet anyway. Leading to Cat Fox
purposing that we have a meeting at her house to meet with an outside
observer.
Diane Hogland (Cat's house mate) has offered her experience helping
groups like our own. She specializes helping collaborative
organizations find focus and cohesive goals. Best yet she's offering
her services (at this point) for free. This would be a great
opportunity to develop a solid concept for the group.
Originally Cat and I had talked about the 10th, but that date is in
conflict with the SLG meeting. New date set, and oh how ironic Friday
Feb. 13th! We'll see who survives. Once again that date:
Friday 2/13/04 @7:00 pm
Cat Fox's House
642 NW 79th
Near 8th and 80th, Crown Hill/Greenwood Area
There will be snacks and such, Dinner is not included! If you'd like to
bring a bit of drink of choice, feel free!
If you'll be attending, please drop myself, or Cat
(catherinefox at earthlink.net ) a note so there's an idea of how many.
See You Soon,
James Campbell-Drury
