Equipment needed!  Anyone going down to the GAL convention this year that can help out with some equipment needed for the open mike nights?  Please contact Mark Swanson if you can help out.   swanson.m at comcast.net

Open Mike nights, Thursday and Friday nights during the up-coming GAL Convention. The acoustic open mike will be on Thursday, and the electric one will be Friday, both at a restaurant about two blocks from the campus.

For the acoustic night, we wouldn't need much besides a small, nice PA and the cables to connect it, and a couple of mikes, and maybe a couple of guitar cables.

The electric night has a few more things....like maybe an amp or two, and depending on the size of the restaurant, maybe a drum kit. If the PA can't handle a bass guitar then we might need an amp there, too.
